Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and onboarding new joiners.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, attendance, and leave records in compliance with company policy and local labor laws.
- Assist in payroll processing and coordinate with the payroll team for accurate salary disbursement.
- Implement and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and HRMS (if applicable) across departments.
- Conduct performance‑appraisal cycles, help prepare appraisal forms, and support feedback discussions.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit formalities, including exit interviews.
- Support employee engagement and welfare activities (festivals, team events, and recognition programs).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, and other labor laws; coordinate with external agencies and auditors when required.
- Prepare basic HR reports (attrition, recruitment, attendance, etc.) for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/PGDM in HR will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR operations (recruitment, payroll, employee relations, compliance) in manufacturing/engineering or similar industry preferred.
- Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws (Shops & Establishments, PF, ESI, Factories Act, etc.) and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS/payroll software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in handling shop‑floor / factory‑floor HR issues.
- Familiarity with performance‑management systems and competency‑based appraisal processes.
- Basic understanding of training and induction planning.
