seeking a dedicated and academically inclined Assistant Professor to join our Department of Anatomy. You will be responsible for teaching MBBS students, conducting practical dissection sessions, and maintaining the high academic standards of our pre-clinical department. Key Responsibilities
- Academic Teaching: Deliver didactic lectures, lead small-group discussions, and facilitate tutorials for MBBS and postgraduate students.
- Laboratory & Dissection: Conduct and supervise meticulous cadaveric dissection sessions, histological practicals, and surface anatomy demonstrations.
- Departmental Duties: Maintain the Anatomy Museum, curate teaching specimens, and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and records.
- Curriculum & Assessment: Participate in setting theory and practical examination papers, conducting internal assessments, and evaluating student performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all departmental activities adhere strictly to the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Anatomy from a recognized medical institution.
- Note for Non-Medical: Candidates with an M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) followed by a Ph.D. in Medical Anatomy (regular on-campus) are also eligible as per NMC regulations.
- Experience: Teaching experience in a recognized medical college is highly preferred. Fresh post-graduates meeting NMC criteria are encouraged to apply.
- Registration: Medical graduates must hold a valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Strong anatomical knowledge, proficiency in dissection techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to clinical correlation in teaching.
Pay: Up to ₹180,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
