Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for sheet metal manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in RADAN and AP100 software and be capable of programming CNC machines for efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using RADAN and AP100 software.
- Prepare CNC programs for Laser Cutting, Turret Punch, and Press Brake machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and customer specifications.
- Optimize nesting to improve material utilization and reduce scrap.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot programming and machine-related issues.
- Maintain CNC program files and production documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Hands-on experience in RADAN and AP100 software is mandatory.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and CNC programming for Laser Cutting, Turret Punch, and Press Brake machines.
Required Skills
- Mandatory experience in RADAN and AP100 software.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of nesting and material optimization.
- Familiarity with Laser Cutting, Turret Punch, and Press Brake programming.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
