Plant Operations Engineer / Plant Operations Executive (Chemical Industry)Job Summary
The Plant Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of chemical manufacturing processes. This role involves monitoring production, maintaining process parameters, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, optimizing plant performance, and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and production teams to achieve operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily plant operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
- Operate and supervise chemical processing equipment, including reactors, distillation columns, pumps, compressors, and storage systems.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process safety guidelines.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level to maintain product quality.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and report abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and operational documentation.
- Support process optimization initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance energy efficiency.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist during plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency situations.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
