Job brief
We are looking for an Accountant - General accounts, to join our accounting team. The candidate will be mainly responsible for Overall general accounting of our Farms at Setrapatti village in Dharmapuri.
Responsibilities
Recording transactions in compliance with accounting principles
Preparation and accounting of invoices,
Accounting of purchase & service bills
Accounting of receipts and payments etc.
Reconciling customer & vendor ledgers
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Maintaining Other general ledgers
Maintaining cordial relation with vendors & customers
Assisting with TDS taxation including filing returns
Assisting with GST workings, reports and returns
Complying with month, quarter and year-end close processes
Co-ordinate and complete statutory & other relevant audits
Skills Needed to be an Accountant
To take on the accountant job description effectively requires:
Technical Expertise – Sound understanding of basic accounting like double entry bookkeeping, credits/debits, GAAP, cost accounting etc.
Software Skills – Proficiency in using financial management systems like SAP B1and Tally Prime. along with Excel at an advanced level.
Communication Ability – Intra department and Inter department communication skills in verbal as well in writing are essential.
Ethical Values – As custodians of financial data, accountants must demonstrate utmost integrity, honesty and professionalism always.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting
A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in commerce or accounting is essential.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
