Hotel Sales Executive – Job Description
Position Summary
The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives, building relationships with clients, and promoting the hotel’s services and amenities. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, leisure, and group segments.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and grow key accounts.
- Conduct site inspections and presentations for potential clients.
- Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless execution of client events and stays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local market and travel industry trends.
