Jyotsna Dhirajlal Talakchand High School (JDT High School) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher – Science to join our Secondary School section. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Science concepts, good classroom management skills, and a passion for teaching and supporting students in their academic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science subjects to students in the Secondary School section.
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective classroom lessons.
- Explain scientific concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and other teaching materials.
- Conduct class tests, assessments, and practical activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and progress.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide guidance.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, examinations, and other academic responsibilities.
- Coordinate with other teachers and school management for effective academic planning.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Follow school policies, academic schedules, and curriculum guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science / Education from a recognized institution.
- BSc/B.Ed. qualification will be preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a secondary school will be an advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage students and make learning interactive.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
- Freshers with good subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
