We are looking for an experienced Training & Development Manager to lead sales, scientific, and product training initiatives across PAN India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs, designing and delivering impactful learning programs, enhancing field force effectiveness, and supporting organizational growth through continuous capability development.
Identify training needs through field visits, surveys, performance reviews, and discussions with Sales and Marketing teams.
Design, develop, and deliver product, scientific, and sales training programs.
Prepare training manuals, product guides, evaluation sheets, and learning materials.
Conduct induction, refresher, centralized, zonal, and virtual training sessions.
Organize weekly online assessments and monitor training effectiveness.
Train Medical Representatives, Area Sales Managers, and Regional Business Managers on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
Conduct Management Development Programs (MDPs) for first and second-line managers.
Evaluate employee performance and recommend development plans.
Maintain training records and ensure completion of mandatory learning programs.
Conduct regular field visits to coach sales teams and evaluate in-clinic effectiveness.
Gather customer and market insights to improve training content and sales performance.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align training with business objectives.
Prepare annual training calendars and schedules.
Coordinate training activities with HR, Marketing, and Sales departments.
Track training KPIs and submit periodic reports to management.
Stay updated with the latest learning methodologies and pharmaceutical industry trends.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales Training, Product Training, Scientific Training, or Learning & Development within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Expertise in pharmaceutical product and sales training.
Experience conducting Management Development Programs.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to design training content and assessment tools.
Willingness to travel across India for training programs.
Experience in Pediatric, Vaccines, Critical Care, or Specialty segments.
Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and instructional design.
Experience in assessment centers and internal leadership development.
Exposure to digital learning platforms and virtual training tools.
