Job Description
Mikan Engineering & Construction Pvt Ltd is looking for a creative and technically skilled 2D & 3D Animator to support our engineering, BIM, construction, and marketing visualisation works.
The candidate will prepare 2D/3D animations, construction installation sequences, equipment assembly videos, structural erection animations, BIM visualisations, motion graphics, interior visualisations, and client presentation videos for international engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, illustrations, and visual content.
- Prepare construction and BIM animation for structures, skids, tanks, platforms, equipment, pipework, interiors, and installation sequences.
- Build, texture, and animate 3D assets and construction components.
- Develop storyboards, animatics, and concept sketches.
- Use software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Adobe After Effects.
- Add labels, arrows, sequence steps, lifting paths, safety zones, access routes, and installation stages for client presentations.
- Work with engineering, BIM, structural, mechanical, piping, and marketing teams.
- Edit videos and implement revisions based on feedback.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Blender, Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Toon Boom.
- Strong visualisation, composition, lighting, colour, and animation skills.
- Experience in 2D and 3D design/animation with a good portfolio.
- Understanding of animation principles, storyboarding, 3D modelling, texturing, rendering, and video editing.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, or installation methods will be an advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, BIM, or equivalent industry experience.
