Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified PGT Chemistry Teacher to teach Grades XI and XII. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, experience handling CBSE senior secondary classes, and the ability to inspire students to achieve academic excellence in Chemistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for Grades XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and board examination requirements.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, practical schedules, question papers, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Conduct laboratory sessions safely and effectively while ensuring proper maintenance and utilization of laboratory equipment and resources.
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate student performance through regular tests, practical examinations, projects, and board exam preparation strategies.
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and remedial instruction to help students improve conceptual understanding and examination performance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, practical work, and student progress.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, and parents to support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, parent-teacher interactions, school events, examinations, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching Chemistry to Grades XI & XII in a CBSE school.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, practical examinations, and board assessment patterns.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and student mentoring skills.

- Demonstrated success in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.
- Strong laboratory management and practical teaching experience.
