Position: Executive / Sr. Executive/Manager – Business Deevelopment (Technical Garments & Fabrics)
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Travel Requirement: 30–40% travel across India and occasional overseas travel based on customer and business requirements.

Position Purpose
To support business development, customer relationship management, product development, and technical marketing activities for Technical Garments and Functional Fabrics. The role involves close interaction with customers, production teams, sourcing partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of customer requirements and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Development & Sales Support
- Support the identification and development of new customers in domestic and export markets.
- Assist in generating enquiries and converting them into business opportunities.
- Coordinate with customers on product specifications, sampling, pricing, and order execution.
- Maintain regular communication with key accounts and support customer relationship management activities.
- Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, and business development visits.
Technical Marketing & Product Development
- Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements for garments and fabrics.
- Coordinate sample developments, proto submissions, and approvals.
- Assist in developing new technical garment applications for industrial, institutional, protective wear, workwear, defence, healthcare, and functional apparel segments.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information.
Project & Order Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Monitor order progress and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
- Support resolution of customer complaints and quality concerns in coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, samples, orders, and customer communications.
Customer Visits & Market Intelligence
- Undertake regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct market surveys and gather information on emerging trends, products, pricing, and competition.
- Prepare visit reports and actionable business recommendations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare sales reports, business forecasts, customer presentations, and MIS reports.
- Maintain CRM6 and customer databases.
- Support preparation of tenders, bids, quotations, and technical submissions.
Qualifications
Education
- B.Tech / B.E. (Textiles, Apparel, Garment Technology, Textile Chemistry, Technical Textiles) or equivalent.
- MBA (Marketing / International Business) will be an added advantage.
Experience
Executive: 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Sr. Executive: 4–8 years of relevant experience.
Managerial roles may be offered to candidates who has better & relevant expertise in the field

Compensation & Growth

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
