About the Role
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager / Senior Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our Gastroenterology product portfolio in the Chennai region. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, strengthening channel partnerships, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive exponential business growth for the company’s Gastroenterology products within the assigned territory
- Increase market penetration and expand market share across partner hospitals
- Identify, develop, and manage channel partners to enhance distribution and sales reach
- Build and maintain strong, ethical relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), doctors, and hospital personnel
- Monitor the competitive landscape and implement effective strategies to gain market advantage
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage a robust sales funnel
- Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets; consistently outperform goals
- Ensure compliance with company reporting standards, policies, and procedures

Experience & Skills
- 7–10 years of sales and market development experience in the MedTech sector
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in managing both direct and channel sales models
- Strong understanding of the Chennai or relevant regional healthcare market
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Pharmacy (mandatory)
