Core Responsibilities
- Gold Appraisal & Valuation: Utilize testing methods (visual, density, acid, X-ray fluorescence) to verify the purity and weight of pledged gold.
- Compliance & Regulation Monitoring: Ensure all transactions and branch processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Physical Stock Verification: Conduct audits to physically verify that gold stocks in branch vaults exactly match system records.
- Security & Risk Assessment: Inspect branch security measures, including CCTV, burglary alarms, and vault integrity to prevent fraud.
- Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports regarding findings, policy deviations, and corrective actions, and present them to senior management.
- Staff Training: Educate branch staff on standard valuation methods and general audit awareness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field; MBAs or relevant finance certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of direct experience in gold loan operations, NBFCs, or internal auditing.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, deep understanding of gold appraisal techniques, strict attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and audit reporting software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
