Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Vendor Follow-Up Executive to coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, consumables, tooling, and other purchased items required for our CNC Machine Shop and Steel Foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with vendors regarding purchase orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
- Track pending purchase orders and maintain vendor follow-up records.
- Obtain delivery commitments from vendors and monitor actual delivery against commitments.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality and Planning teams regarding material requirements.
- Follow up on delayed materials and escalate critical delays to the concerned person.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding shortages, quality issues and replacement materials.
- Maintain updated vendor-wise pending order and delivery status.
- Prepare daily/weekly vendor follow-up reports.
- Communicate with vendors through phone, email and WhatsApp regarding order status.
- Coordinate material requirements for CNC machining, VMC, HMC, turning, fabrication and steel foundry operations.
- Follow up for raw materials, castings, machining components, consumables, tools, spares and other production-related items.
- Maintain proper documentation of vendor commitments and delivery dates.
- Support the Purchase team in maintaining smooth vendor coordination.
Required Skills:
- Good vendor communication and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of Purchase Orders, Delivery Schedules and Material Follow-Up.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and engineering materials.
- Knowledge of CNC machine shop and/or steel foundry operations will be an advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
- Ability to maintain follow-up trackers and reports.
- Strong coordination and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple vendors and urgent requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 1–4 years of experience in Vendor Follow-Up.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in CNC machining, engineering components or steel foundry will be preferred.
- Should be proactive, responsible and consistent in vendor follow-up.
- Should be willing to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
