The role acts as the portfolio integrator across FDS, establishing strong product and portfolio disciplines, partnering with the PRM Heads to connect departmental product strategies, resolve cross-domain trade-offs, and shape one coherent investment and roadmap agenda for Foundational Services.
The ideal candidate combines executive-level strategic leadership with strong product and operational depth. They can engage credibly with senior executives on strategy and investment choices, while remaining close enough to customers, products, and delivery to challenge assumptions, resolve issues, and provide hands-on leadership when needed.
Define and drive the product and portfolio strategy across the data and AI, developer productivity, and industrial edge domains. Use strategic frameworks to inform portfolio development priorities, guide investment decisions, and navigate portfolio trade-offs.
Operationalize strategic prioritization at scale through effective portfolio governance, planning, funding, metrics, operating rhythms, and executive decision-making mechanisms.
Translate the needs of Siemens businesses, product organizations, and engineering teams into scalable platform capabilities while balancing customer value with standardization, reuse, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
Build trust and develop thought leadership with business unit leaders and product teams to expand and deepen FDS platform adoption.
Extensive product and portfolio leadership experience in enterprise platforms, shared technology services, internal developer platforms, or similarly complex technology environments.
Proven experience building high-performing product organizations across multiple platform or product domains.
Demonstrated ability to operate at enterprise scale and translate strategy into portfolio priorities, investment decisions, operating mechanisms, and measurable delivery outcomes.
Ability to operate across a wide range of altitude: from shaping strategy and influencing senior executives to engaging deeply with customers, product teams, technology decisions, and delivery challenges.
Strong understanding of platform product management, internal customer management, adoption, service quality, operating models, and sustainable economics. Experience with manufacturing, industrial technology, or Siemens’ businesses and operating environments is a plus.
