Job Summary We are looking for a Computer Faculty to teach and engage students from Grades 1 to 8 through age-appropriate computer science, digital literacy, and technology-based learning activities.
Key Responsibilities Conduct computer classes for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Teach fundamental computer concepts, digital literacy, and basic programming. Plan and deliver engaging, activity-based and practical lessons. Introduce students to tools such as Scratch, block-based programming, coding platforms, and basic productivity software. Conduct hands-on activities related to AI, robotics, electronics, and emerging technologies, where applicable. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning activities. Monitor student participation and learning progress. Encourage problem-solving, creativity, computational thinking, and project-based learning. Maintain proper classroom discipline and ensure responsible use of technology. Coordinate with teachers and school management for academic activities and technology-related events. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Applications, Electronics, or a related field. Good communication and classroom management skills. Strong interest in teaching children and working with students from primary to middle school. Basic knowledge of coding/programming and educational technology tools. Ability to conduct practical and activity-based computer sessions. Prior school teaching experience will be an advantage. Preferred Experience with Scratch, Python, robotics, AI tools, Arduino, or STEM-based education will be an added advantage. Salary: As per experience and school norms.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
