Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Application Developer to join our Corporate Systems team. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in the support and maintenance of mission-critical Oracle ERP platforms. Expertise in financial technologies is required. In this senior engineering role, you will work closely with both business stakeholders and the technical lead to deliver solutions that meet rigorous quality benchmarks and project timelines. This position requires direct involvement in planning, designing, and developing advanced solutions tailored to the needs of our business partners.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support custom solutions within Oracle EBS Projects (PA) and financial modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management (CE)
Lead and support migration efforts from Oracle Fusion ERP to Oracle EBS, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
Analyze legacy processes (both Fusion and prior EBS/custom systems) and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization
Redesign and streamline manual or flat file–driven processes into scalable, controlled solutions using:
Develop and enhance flat file integrations (CSV, fixed-width, etc.) for:
Labor cost uploads (CAPEX/OPEX allocations)
Project expenditures and cost distribution
AP invoices, AR transactions, and GL journal imports
Build reusable data load frameworks using SQL*Loader, external tables, or PL/SQL to improve performance, auditability, and error tracking
Develop and execute data conversion scripts for:
Projects, tasks, and project attributes
Project costs, revenue, and billing data
Suppliers, customers, invoices, and accounting balances
Implement data validation and reconciliation controls to ensure accuracy between Fusion and EBS during migration
Build and validate Project-to-GL reconciliation processes and financial integrity checks
Support project costing, billing, and revenue recognition flows post-transition
Configure and extend Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules to align with optimized business processes
Create reports using BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and SQL for migration validation, operational reporting, and compliance
Support cutover activities, including mock conversions, parallel runs, and production deployment
Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies across Projects and Financial modules, especially in high-volume data loads
Document process improvements, data flows, and technical solutions for long-term maintainability

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of Oracle ERP development experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Oracle EBS Projects (PA) – costing, billing, revenue
Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE)
Proven experience with legacy system optimization and process re-engineering
Strong experience developing and supporting flat file–based integrations and data loads
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials and/or Projects) and migration efforts
Strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and data conversion/performance tuning
Experience with:
Oracle EBS APIs, Open Interfaces, and Concurrent Programs
SQL*Loader, external tables, or similar data load tools
BI Publisher / XML Publisher reporting
Knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) and financial data flows
Core Competencies:
Excellent knowledge of and experience with Financial Operation

Familiarity with Fusion data extraction tools (FBDI, OTBI, BI Cloud)
Experience in project-driven industries (construction, engineering, consulting)
Exposure to integration technologies (SOA, OIC, REST/SOAP services)
Experience implementing automated controls around batch data processing and file ingestion
