The Team Lead – Payroll & Compliance will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, HR data governance, and employee benefits administration across the organization.
The role will manage end-to-end payroll operations and employee lifecycle data in HRMS platforms such as Keka, while ensuring adherence to labour laws, internal policies, and audit requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, and full & final settlements.

Validate payroll inputs/outputs in coordination with HR, Finance, and IT teams.

Manage payroll operations through HRMS/payroll systems like Keka.

Ensure compliance and timely filing of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Bonus, and other statutory requirements.

Resolve payroll queries and perform payroll reconciliations and audit checks.

Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.

Maintain statutory records, documentation, and compliance trackers.

Support audits and coordinate with external compliance partners.

Monitor changes in employment laws and implement required updates.

Manage employee lifecycle data from onboarding to exit in HRMS systems.

Ensure employee data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates.

Generate HR reports, dashboards, MIS, and analytics for management reviews.

Support budgeting, increment planning, and organizational reporting requirements.

Act as custodian of HR policies and ensure consistent implementation.

Manage employee benefits including insurance, leave, reimbursements, and exit processes.

Coordinate with vendors for insurance, compliance, and payroll-related activities.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and governance controls.

Ensure timely query resolution and improved employee experience.

Collaborate with HRBP, Finance, Operations, and IT teams for smooth execution of people processes.

Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.

Hands-on experience with Keka or similar HRMS/payroll tools.

Good understanding of Indian labour laws and HR operations.

Strong analytical, reconciliation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll data with high accuracy.

Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Commerce, Finance, or related field.

MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
-
5–8 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, and Compliance.

Team handling experience preferred.
