We are looking for an experienced Senior Tool Maker for our Mould Assembly Department. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of plastic injection mould manufacturing, mould fitting, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete mould assembly and fitting activities as per drawings and specifications.
- Should have sound knowledge of plastic injection mould construction and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in fitting and assembly of core, cavity, slides, lifters, inserts, ejector systems, guide systems, cooling systems, etc.
- Understand and interpret 2D drawings and 3D mould designs.
- Carry out bench work, grinding, lapping, polishing, fitting and correction activities.
- Identify and rectify assembly-related issues, mismatch, flash, alignment and fitting problems.
- Coordinate with CNC, EDM, VMC, Wire Cut and Tool Room departments for necessary corrections.
- Should be capable of understanding mould trials and making necessary corrections based on trial observations.
- Ensure mould assembly is completed within the required quality and delivery timelines.
- Guide and supervise junior tool makers/helpers in assembly activities.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
