Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Designer with an engineering background to prepare accurate technical drawings and 3D models based on project requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD software skills and the ability to interpret engineering concepts into detailed designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare detailed design layouts, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop design solutions.
- Review and revise drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
- Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain drawing documentation and revision history.
- Support project execution by providing accurate technical drawings within deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or similar CAD software is an added advantage).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling and drafting.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and engineering documentation.
