Primary Hindi Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Job Purpose
The Primary Hindi Teacher is responsible for creating a joyful, engaging, and student-centered learning environment that develops students' proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Hindi. The teacher nurtures a love for the language while fostering creativity, communication, and cultural appreciation through interactive teaching methodologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Planning & Instruction
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with the CBSE/Cambridge curriculum and school learning outcomes.
- Develop students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Use storytelling, role-play, songs, games, poetry, and activities to make language learning enjoyable.
- Integrate technology and interactive teaching strategies where appropriate.
Classroom Management
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish classroom routines and encourage positive behaviour.
- Foster confidence and active participation among students.
- Promote collaborative learning and respect for different perspectives.
Assessment & Feedback
- Design formative and summative assessments.
- Monitor student progress through observations, quizzes, worksheets, projects, and oral assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
Student Development
- Encourage students to communicate confidently in Hindi.
- Develop creativity through storytelling, drama, recitation, debates, and creative writing.
- Identify students requiring additional support or enrichment.
- Build students' appreciation for Indian language and culture.
Lesson Planning & Documentation
- Prepare annual plans, unit plans, weekly lesson plans, and teaching resources.
- Maintain student portfolios and assessment records.
- Complete school documentation accurately and on time.
Collaboration
- Work closely with grade-level teachers and coordinators.
- Participate in curriculum planning meetings and professional learning communities.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Support school programmes, assemblies, competitions, and cultural celebrations.
Professional Development
- Attend workshops, training programmes, and staff meetings.
- Stay updated with innovative teaching methodologies and educational technology.
- Reflect on teaching practices and continuously improve instructional strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory/Preferred as per school policy).
- CTET/TET qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a primary school (preferred).

Working Hours
As per school policy.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the Principal or Academic Coordinator.
- Supervise students during assemblies, recess, dispersal, and school events.
- Participate in school committees, celebrations, and co-curricular activities as required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
