Role Overview:
The Manager – Student Welfare & Support is responsible for overseeing student and partner grievance management, ensuring timely resolution, effective stakeholder coordination, and seamless support operations. The role also focuses on planning and managing student welfare initiatives, co-curricular activities, and engagement programs to enhance the overall student experience while ensuring compliance with defined service standards and University policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Support & Grievance Management

Manage student and partner grievances through the University Management System (UMS),ensuring timely resolution and closure within defined TAT.

Monitor ticket generation, tracking, escalation, and resolution processes to ensure service efficiency.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Program Managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve student issues effectively.

Act as the primary point of contact for grievance-related communication and stakeholder engagement.
2. Student Welfare & Engagement
-
Plan, coordinate, and monitor student welfare initiatives, awareness programs, and support services.

Organize and oversee co-curricular activities, student engagement programs, and participation initiatives.

Track student feedback and engagement metrics to improve student experience and satisfaction.

Collaborate with academic and operational teams to implement welfare and engagement strategies.
3. Documentation & Compliance
-
Maintain grievance records, support-related documentation, and communication logs inaccordance with University guidelines.

Generate MIS reports related to grievances, student support, and engagement activities.

Support audit, accreditation, and compliance requirements by providing accurate records andreports.
Qualifications & Skills Required:

Postgraduate Degree in any discipline.

5–8 years of experience in student support, student services, student welfare, or engagementfunctions.

Mandatory experience in a University or Educational Institution.

Proficiency in University Management Systems (UMS), ticketing platforms, MS Excel, and MSOffice tools.

Strong understanding of student grievance management and academic operations.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and team coordination abilities.
