A Field Sales Executive drives revenue by meeting prospects and clients in person to sell products or services within an assigned geographical territory. - Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research local markets, cold-call, and network within the assigned territory to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients. [1, 2]
- Direct Sales & Presentations: Conduct face-to-face meetings and practical product demonstrations to communicate value and overcome customer objections. [1, 2]
- Account Management: Build and maintain productive, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure client loyalty and secure recurring business. [1, 2]
- Territory Management: Plan daily travel routes efficiently to maximize market coverage and ensure timely client visits. [1, 2]
- Reporting & Tracking: Log all client interactions, manage sales pipelines, and submit regular forecasts and performance reports using CRM software. [1, 2, 3]
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record of 1–3 years in field sales, outside sales, or territory management. [1, 2]
- Skills: Strong negotiation, active listening, and persuasive communication skills. Highly self-motivated and target-driven. [1, 2, 3]
- Technical Knowledge: Basic commercial awareness, ability to learn product specifications rapidly, and proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot. [1, 2]
