Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, and providing professional guidance to patients and healthcare staff regarding medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s prescriptions.
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide patients with clear instructions on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and pharmacy inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines and medical supplies.
- Ensure all medications are stored properly according to safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Comply with all pharmacy regulations, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
- Assist healthcare professionals with medication-related information when required.
- Ensure expiry date monitoring and proper disposal of expired medications.
Qualifications:
- B. Pharm or Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Valid Pharmacist License/Registration as per regulatory authority.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Good communication and patient counseling skills.
- Inventory management and record-keeping ability.
- Ability to work responsibly and ethically in a healthcare environment.
Working Conditions:

Benefits:
