What the job actually involves
1. You become the client’s primary point of contact
You’ll communicate with clients through WhatsApp, email and phone, answer questions, keep them updated and make sure they know how to use their membership. The position is explicitly described as the first point of contact for members and prospects.
2. You manage the client relationship
You’ll onboard new clients, explain their membership benefits, collect information/forms, maintain their account and make sure follow-ups happen on time.
So this is not just an administrative role—relationship management is a major part of it.
3. You work with credit-card points and airline miles
This is one of the more specialised parts of the position. You’ll handle loyalty data, redemptions and account management, while supporting consultants who analyse a client's spending and determine how they can maximise their points/miles.
You'd gradually learn things like:
- Credit-card reward ecosystems
- Airline loyalty programmes
- Transfer partners
- Points/miles redemptions
- How clients can optimise their spending for travel
4. You coordinate the actual travel
You won't necessarily be the person doing every booking yourself, but you'll coordinate internally for flights, hotels, visas and insurance and make sure the client experience is seamless.
Think of it as travel concierge + account manager + loyalty-program specialist.
5. There is a small operations/marketing component
You'll also maintain CRM records, prepare reports, help with presentations/newsletters and occasionally assist with marketing tasks.
What kind of person are they looking for?
The job description is pretty clear that they don't necessarily need someone highly experienced. Freshers can apply, although 1–2 years of experience in client servicing, travel or consulting is preferred.
The strongest candidate would probably be someone who is:
- Very good with people — patient, responsive and personable
- Extremely organised — lots of client details and follow-ups
- Good at communication — particularly English and Hindi
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets
- Interested in travel and aviation
- Curious about credit cards, points and loyalty programmes
- Good at problem-solving
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-touch environment
