About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through thorough testing and defect tracking. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare test reports.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in creating and maintaining automation test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of Automation Testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or other automation frameworks.
- Experience in writing and maintaining automation test cases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Up to 30 Days Preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
