Position - Medical Social Worker
Location: Panipat, Haryana
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Social Worker to join our healthcare team in Panipat. The ideal candidate will provide emotional, social, and practical support to patients and their families, helping them navigate healthcare services and access available resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' social, emotional, and financial needs.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist patients in accessing community resources, government schemes, and support services.
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
- Help patients and families understand treatment plans and discharge procedures.
- Conduct follow-up visits and monitor patient progress when required.
- Advocate for patient rights and welfare within the healthcare system.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, or community social work preferred.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Good documentation and case management skills.
