Position Responsibility:
The Service Engineer shall be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, service and troubleshooting waterjet propulsion system.
Location:
- Position located in Mumbai (Belapur)
- Reasonable travel within India
- Ready to work on weekends as needed.
salary : 6 to 8 LPA
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain, service and support of Waterjet propulsion products including assembling, installing, commissioning and troubleshooting as & when required.
- Plan and coordinate assigned project or service.
- Ensure all projects are completed within the time frame given, with minimum cost and at high service quality.
- Provide day-to-day technical assistance to internal and external customer and keep them updated on new information.
- Liaise with manufacturers for new information especially on technical issues.
- Provide training to customer or shipyards.
- Generate reports on timely basis complete with relevant documents.
Background Experience:
- Must have good knowledge of rotating machinery service experience such as engines, pumps, Gear box, compressor, Thrusters and propulsion system.
- Proven experience in maritime industry such as drydock will be considered a plus
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn.
Qualifications :
· BE/ B.Tech /Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine; Experience in maritime industry is must.
- Mechanical Background with Industry experience is highly preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in service and have a strong experience in troubleshooting.
- Good computer skills (MS Office-word, excel & power point)
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay: ₹600,000.04 - ₹800,000.25 per year
