Job Description
Job Purpose/Overview :
The vision of this role is to serve as the SAP Technical Analyst (ABAP Developer) is responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, developing and supporting SAP applications, and ensuring seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role requires strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA technologies, system enhancements, interfaces, and performance optimization. The analyst works closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Analysis & Solution Design

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
-
Perform impact assessments for enhancements, upgrades, and new developments.
-
Collaborate with functional teams to identify optimal technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
-
Provide technical recommendations and best practices for SAP implementations and enhancements.
SAP ABAP Development
-
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP solutions using ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
-
Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW objects).
-
Create and enhance ALV reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
-
Develop reusable and scalable technical components following SAP development standards.
Integration & Interfaces
-
Design and support integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs, and OData services.
-
Develop and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP and third-party applications.
-
Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across integrated systems.
SAP S/4HANA & HANA Development
-
Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, and HANA-based solutions.
-
Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and system enhancements, as needed.

Collaborate on Fiori applications and OData service development where required.
Performance Optimization & Support
-
Analyze and resolve application performance issues using SAP performance analysis tools.
-
Conduct code reviews and implement performance tuning techniques.
-
Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancement projects.
Testing & Documentation
-
Prepare technical design documents, unit test scripts, and deployment documentation.

Execute unit testing and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and support activities.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in IT or a relevant field
-
SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA Technical Certification preferred.
-
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is an advantage.
-
Experience with strong technical expertise in procurement processes.
-
Strong experience in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP development.
-
Expertise in Data Dictionary, Internal Tables, Modularization Techniques, and Open SQL.
-
Experience with SAP enhancements including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.

Hands-on experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, APIs, and Web Services.
-
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA optimization techniques.
-
Experience with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and ALV reporting.
-
Understanding SAP Fiori, UI5, and OData services is highly desirable.

Experience participating in full project lifecycles, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
