About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to take technical ownership of our backend platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for designing scalable backend systems, driving architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and delivering secure, enterprise-grade applications for government and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead backend architecture and technical decision-making.
- Design and develop scalable REST APIs and Java microservices.
- Build event-driven applications using AWS messaging services.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering teams.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Dockerized deployments.
- Collaborate with product, delivery, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure engineering best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade backend systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience leading technical teams or acting as a technical lead.
- Ability to make architecture decisions and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Strong ownership mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Government/Public Sector or Enterprise SaaS experience.
- JasperReports or other reporting frameworks.
- PDF/document processing integrations.
- Kafka or EventBridge.
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Third-party enterprise system integrations.
Pay: ₹1,042,183.89 - ₹2,377,190.57 per year
