Role & Responsibilities
- Handle assigned corporate event leads and client inquiries professionally.
- Call, WhatsApp, email, and follow up with potential clients on a daily basis.
- Conduct client discovery to understand event brief, budget, vision, requirements, and key decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements such as event type, date, venue preference, guest count, budget, theme, branding, food, decor, entertainment, and production needs.
- Schedule and attend client meetings, site visits, and venue tours when required.
- Lead site visits and venue tours with clients in a professional manner.
- Prepare and share customized event proposals within 48 hours of client discovery.
- Coordinate with internal teams for proposal inputs, event concepts, costing, and service details.
- Liaise with event suppliers during the pre-sales stage, including venues, caterers, decorators, production teams, artists, and other vendors, to collect required proposal information.
- Maintain proper follow-up with clients for proposal feedback, revisions, negotiation, and final confirmation.
- Update lead status, client remarks, follow-up dates, proposal status, and closure updates in CRM or Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager or Team Leader for pricing approvals, proposal review, and closure support.
- Ensure clear, professional, and timely communication with clients.
- Avoid false commitments, unapproved pricing, or incorrect information to clients.
- Ensure all supplier/vendor agreements, approvals, negotiations, and final sign-offs are handled only by the CEO/management, not by the sales team.
- Hand off closed events to the Operations team with a complete event brief.
- Share complete details with Operations, including client requirements, final proposal, budget, venue details, vendor inputs, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Maintain daily reports, follow-up sheets, sales pipeline, and activity updates.
- Achieve weekly activity targets and monthly sales targets as defined by the company.
- Build strong client relationships for repeat business, referrals, and long-term corporate event opportunities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a confident, presentable, and client-focused Sales Executive with experience in event sales, corporate events, hospitality sales, venue sales, client servicing, or B2B service sales.The ideal candidate should have experience handling event inquiries, understanding client requirements, conducting client discovery, coordinating site visits, preparing event proposals, following up with clients, and supporting event closures.Candidates from event management companies, corporate event agencies, venues, hotels, hospitality, MICE, brand activation, exhibition, production, decor, or service-based industries will be preferred.The candidate must have good communication skills, strong follow-up discipline, client handling ability, basic proposal understanding, coordination skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work in a target-driven environment.Immediate or early joiners who are comfortable with Work from Office will be preferred.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
