Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Analyst with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data dashboards and reports. This role will be leading BI tools including Qlik Sense or Microsoft Power BI or Tableau and will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across departments.
Dashboard & Report Development
Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense or Power BI or Tableau.
Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly data visualizations.
Develop and maintain data models, calculated fields, and KPI metrics.
Optimize existing reports for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver timely solutions.
Perform ad hoc analysis and support self-service analytics across teams.
Data Management & Governance
Connect to and manage multiple data sources including SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms, and APIs.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI reports.
Document data definitions, business logic, and report specifications.
Enforce BI governance standards, access controls, and best practices.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with data engineers, IT teams, and business analysts to support end-to-end data pipelines.
Provide training and support to end users on BI tools and dashboards.
Participate in agile sprints and contribute to BI roadmap planning.
Required
Technical Skills – BI Tools
Qlik: Proficiency in Qlik Sense - associative data model, set analysis, scripting, and app development.
Power BI: Strong experience with Power BI Desktop & Service — DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling, and workspace management.
Tableau: Experience building Tableau workbooks, calculated fields, LOD expressions, and publishing to Tableau Server/Online.
Data & Analytical Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, ETL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Exposure to Python or R for data manipulation is an advantage.
