Key Responsibilities
- Routine Inspections: Examine raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to check for defects and compliance with design blueprints.
- Testing & Measurement: Operate precision testing tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) and evaluate outputs against predefined tolerance levels.
- Process Monitoring: Audit the assembly line and manufacturing processes to ensure procedures are followed correctly.
- Defect Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain comprehensive test data, and prepare reports on waste, rework, and First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate manufacturing failures and product defects to determine the underlying cause and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). [1]
- Equipment Calibration: Ensure measurement devices are accurate by following scheduled calibration requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production supervisors and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvements.
- Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or relevant vocational certification in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience: Hands-on experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
