Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing of web applications. Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases. Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Prepare and maintain test execution reports and quality metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and processes. Required Skills 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle. Experience in API testing and web application testing. Knowledge of version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Domain Requirements (Optional) Experience working in the General Insurance domain. Understanding of insurance business processes such as: Policy Administration Quote-to-Policy Journey Renewals Claims Processing Endorsements Customer and Agent Portals Preferred Skills Experience with API automation tools. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Exposure to cloud-based testing environments. Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
