Senior Manager – Finance Bassline AV Technologies | Gurugram | Full-Time
What This Role Is About
Bassline is growing fast — and the finance function needs to grow with it. We need a Senior Finance Manager who understands project-based businesses, keeps cash flowing, and brings the financial discipline and leadership that turns a growing company into a scalable one. This is not a back-office role. You will sit at the decision-making table.
What You'll Own
- Cash Flow & Working Capital : Maintain smooth, uninterrupted cash flow across all active projects. Anticipate gaps, manage credit lines, and ensure the business never slows down because of a liquidity problem.
- Billing & Collections : Own the billing cycle for government and hospitality clients — two segments that require persistence, documentation discipline, and a deep understanding of how their payment processes work. Milestone invoicing, retention tracking, and collections follow-up are core to this role.
- Compliance, Taxation & Audit : GST, TDS, income tax, statutory filings — clean, on time, every time. Own the audit process and ensure there are no year-end surprises.
- Project Cost Control & Budgeting : Track actual costs against budgets across all projects. Flag overruns early. Allocate budgets across departments in a way that enables revenue generation, not just cost control.
- Enabling Sales Through Financial Strategy : Work closely with the sales and project teams to optimise margins, structure competitive proposals, and ensure profitability targets are met without compromising on winning business.
- Vendor Payments & Contract Management : Manage the payables cycle efficiently — pay vendors on time, negotiate favourable terms, and review contracts for financial risk.
- Financial Reporting : Produce clear, accurate financial reports at both project and company level. Leadership should always know exactly where the numbers stand.
- Financial Planning & Strategy : Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Help the leadership team make decisions that are grounded in financial reality.
What We're Looking For
● 7+ years in finance, preferably in a project-execution environment — AV, construction, MEP, infrastructure, or similar
● Demonstrated experience with government and hospitality client billing and collections
● Strong command of GST, TDS, and corporate tax compliance
● Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or equivalent; advanced Excel skills
● CA, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred
● Proven leadership ability — you've built or led a finance team and taken it to a higher level of performance

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
