Job Summary:
The Jewelry Production Assistant Manager supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency. This role involves coordinating with design, procurement, and quality teams while managing artisans and production workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing daily jewelry production schedules
- Supervise and coordinate work of karigars/artisans across departments (casting, setting, polishing, finishing)
- Ensure production targets are met within deadlines
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company standards
- Coordinate with design and CAD teams for new product development
- Track raw materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones) and minimize wastage
- Maintain production MIS reports and update management regularly
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Handle troubleshooting in production issues and resolve bottlenecks
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
- Support inventory control and stock reconciliation

- Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes
- Understanding of gold, diamond, and gemstone handling

- Basic knowledge of production software / ERP systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Jewelry Design, Manufacturing, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in jewelry production (preferably in gold/diamond jewelry)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in handling mass production or export jewelry units
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM processes
- Experience working with karigar teams
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
