We are looking for a diligent and reliable Steward to maintain cleanliness and support smooth operations in the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate should work efficiently behind the scenes, ensuring hygiene, proper handling of utensils, and assisting the kitchen and service staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep kitchen, storage, and dining areas clean and organized.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.
- Ensure proper storage of clean dishes, cutlery, and kitchen tools.
- Handle garbage disposal and maintain cleanliness of trash areas.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform management about shortages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist service staff during busy hours if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Steward, Kitchen Helper, or similar role.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
Preferred:
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, or QSRs (Quick Service Restaurants).
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and basic food handling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
