Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Plan, organize, and manage all MEP activities from design review through project handover.
- Develop and monitor MEP construction schedules aligned with the overall project program.
- Ensure timely execution of MEP works within budget and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and other project disciplines.
Design & Engineering
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Identify design conflicts and propose engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants for approvals and technical clarifications.
Construction Management
- Supervise MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor installation progress and productivity.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and method statements.
- Resolve technical and construction issues promptly.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
- Review inspection requests and quality documentation.
- Ensure completion of snagging and punch-list items before handover.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and statutory regulations.
- Promote a safe working environment on site.
- Participate in safety meetings, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented for safety observations.
Cost & Procurement
- Review BOQs and assist in cost estimation and value engineering.
- Monitor MEP budgets and control project costs.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
- Review vendor and subcontractor performance.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations.
- Coordinate approvals, inspections, and authority requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Plan and supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure all systems perform as per design requirements.
- Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and close-out documentation.
- Support project handover and defect liability activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Professional certification (PMP, LEED, CEng, PE, etc.) is an advantage.
- Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in MEP construction and project management.
- Minimum 5 years in an MEP Manager role.
- Experience with commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
