About the Role This role involves working with .NET Core and C# to develop backend services and APIs, with a focus on microservices, distributed storage systems, and Kubernetes deployment automation. The successful candidate will be part of a team that values cloud-native infrastructure, event-driven architecture, and security. The goal is to provide valuable features for customers using the backend platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and APIs using .NET Core microservices with REST and dynamically generated GraphQL endpoints
- Design and implement distributed storage systems with multi-site replication, versioning, backup/restore policies, and high availability patterns
- Automate Kubernetes deployment using custom C# tooling that abstracts infrastructure complexity and supports multiple deployment targets
- Work with cloud-native infrastructure, including container orchestration, service mesh, automated certificate management, and network configuration
- Develop event-driven architecture with asynchronous, eventually consistent systems and distributed coordination
- Implement security and authentication using OAuth2/OpenID Connect SSO integration across all platform components
- Develop microservices using the backend platform to provide valuable features for customers, such as AI integration
- Create comprehensive testing, including automated test suites with full multi-cluster scenario validation
Requirements
- Develop backend services using .NET Core/C# with 6+ years of experience, including modern async/await, dependency injection, and .NET 6+
- Utilize Kubernetes expertise, including deployments, persistent storage, multi-node clusters, and Helm charts
- Design distributed systems with eventual consistency, message brokers (RabbitMQ), and async patterns
- Implement containerization using Docker/Podman, multi-stage builds, and container orchestration
- Work with cloud storage, including object storage patterns (S3-compatible systems) and replication strategies
- Develop database technologies, including NoSQL databases, indexing, and search platforms
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, for international collaboration
Good to Have
- Utilize CI/CD using GitHub Actions, automated pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
- Work with cloud platforms, including AWS (EC2, S3, EKS) or equivalent
- Implement security using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and enterprise identity providers
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/bash scripting and deployment automation
- Monitor systems using observability tools, metrics, and logging
