Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to Senior Secondary (Grades XI & XII) as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and deliver engaging classroom sessions.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
- Prepare students for board examinations through effective assessment and revision strategies.
- Conduct periodic assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.A.) in English.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university is mandatory.
- CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience as a PGT English Teacher in a CBSE/ICSE/State Board school.
- Experience in handling Grades XI & XII and board examination preparation is preferred.

- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and smart classroom tools.
