We are looking for enthusiastic and well experienced candidate for post of Environmental Engineer.
Experience: Min. 5–8 years of experience in environmental management, preferably in API Pharma manufacturing industries.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Job Location: Plant – Sojitra GIDC, Dist. Anand, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and air pollution control systems.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for environmental approvals, renewals, and inspections.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports, returns, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct environmental audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor hazardous waste generation, storage, transportation, and disposal as per applicable regulations.
- Track water consumption, energy usage, emissions, and waste management data.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
- Organize environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
- Support EHS activities and maintain records related to environmental compliance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and pollution control norms.
- Experience in ETP, MEE, STP operations and hazardous waste management.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and environmental compliance documentation.
