The Boys Hostel Warden would be responsible for the overall supervision and welfare of boy students residing in the hostel. He ensures a safe, disciplined, and homely environment while maintaining hostel rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain discipline, order, and safety among the boy students.
- Ensure students adhere to hostel rules and routines (e.g., wake-up time, meals, study hours, lights-off).
- Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the hostel premises.
- Monitor attendance and report absentees or unusual behavior promptly.
- Provide emotional support and care to students, acting as a mentor or guardian.
- Coordinate with school management regarding student issues, health concerns, or emergencies.
- Maintain records of hostel occupancy, inventory, complaints, and maintenance.
- Supervise hostel staff (cook, cleaner, security, etc.) and ensure efficient service.
- Ensure timely distribution of meals and manage any special dietary needs of students.
- Handle emergencies or medical issues and communicate with parents when necessary.
