About the Role
Vedantu is looking for passionate and result-oriented Student Academic Mentors (SAMs) who can guide students, track their academic progress, motivate them, and work closely with students, parents, and educators to improve learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track students' academic performance.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Provide personalized academic guidance and study plans.
- Motivate students and build strong relationships with them.
- Conduct regular student follow-ups and check-ins.
- Communicate with parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Analyze student performance data and suggest improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with teachers and academic teams.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong knowledge of any one subject from PCMB – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology.
- Comfortable with the subject syllabus up to Class 12 / JEE / NEET level.
- Strong communication skills in both Tamil and English – Mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents in Tamil and English.
- Good mentoring and student-handling skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a student-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and data analysis is an added advantage.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated with a strong ownership and result-oriented mindset.
Preferred Candidate
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about student mentoring and academic development, have strong subject knowledge, and can confidently communicate with students and parents in both Tamil and English.

Pay: ₹380,000.00 per month
