Job Title: LED PCB TechnicianRole Overview
The LED PCB Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in LED lighting systems and electronic products. This role ensures high manufacturing quality, diagnoses circuit failures, and maintains production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Soldering: Assemble LED PCBs by soldering components (through-hole and Surface Mount Technology/SMT) manually or using reflow ovens.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct functional testing and quality checks on populated PCBs using equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test fixtures.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose component-level defects, circuit failures, or soldering issues, and perform rework/rectification (e.g., replacing faulty LEDs, drivers, or resistors).
- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret schematic diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering instructions to ensure precise assembly.
- Quality Control: Inspect final products for defects like short circuits, cold solder joints, or misaligned components to meet quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in PCB assembly, soldering, or electronic hardware testing.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in manual soldering, desoldering, and component-level troubleshooting. Knowledge of LED drivers and thermal management is a plus.
