Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Stewards. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, and supporting the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort customers to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner.
- Monitor guests’ dining experience to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or issues.
- Assist in the cleaning and resetting of tables.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including the bar, tables, and workstations.
- Support bar staff and kitchen team as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
- Manage and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a team player.
