Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented IndiaMART Portal Executive to manage our online B2B marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor incoming product inquiries, follow up with leads immediately, understand customer requirements for our industrial products (hoists, cranes, etc.), and successfully convert those leads into paying customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management: Monitor the IndiaMART buyer panel continuously to ensure a zero-miss rate on incoming leads.
- Instant Follow-up: Call and WhatsApp prospective buyers immediately after a lead is generated to capture high-intent customers.
- Lead Conversion: Understand the client’s technical and commercial requirements, present our product details, and nurture them until the sale is closed.
- Catalog Management: Maintain, update, and optimize our company’s product listings and images on IndiaMART to improve visibility and ranking.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain a daily tracker/CRM log of all inquiries, called leads, follow-ups, and successful conversions.
- Coordination: Coordinate with the internal technical/sales team for accurate pricing quotes when custom specifications are requested by buyers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience handling IndiaMART, TradeIndia, or similar B2B portal leads (Experience in industrial engineering/manufacturing products is a huge plus).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English to confidently pitch to business buyers.
- Sales Drive: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a persistent follow-up mindset.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating online dashboards, mobile apps, Excel/Google Sheets, and WhatsApp Business.
