The Sales General Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall vehicle sales operations of the dealership. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, increasing market share, ensuring profitability, and developing a high-performing sales team while maintaining compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Lead and supervise Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Executives across all sales operations.
- Monitor showroom performance, enquiry conversion, retail sales, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive business growth through effective lead generation, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement.
- Ensure adherence to OEM (Manufacturer) sales processes, policies, and standards.
- Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Coordinate with Finance, Insurance, Exchange, Accessories, and Delivery teams to maximize revenue.
- Review daily sales activities, pipeline management, booking status, and retail performance.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate sales team members to improve productivity and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective action plans where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and business partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving escalated customer concerns promptly.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, and sales events.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
