We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Laboratory Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. The candidate will assist in sample preparation, testing, record keeping, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety standards. This position is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of laboratory experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, labeling, and preparing samples for testing and analysis.
Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures under supervision.
Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory activities.
Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.
Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals, reagents, and samples.
Follow laboratory safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to laboratory work.
Monitor laboratory inventory and inform supervisors about stock requirements.
Support senior laboratory staff in research, quality control, and testing activities.
Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
