Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate and acquire new clients for structural engineering and design consultancy services. The ideal candidate should have strong networking and client acquisition skills and be capable of bringing projects related to high-rise buildings, villas, commercial buildings, residential projects, and other structural engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for structural design and engineering services.
- Acquire clients such as builders, developers, architects, contractors, project management consultants, and real estate companies.
- Bring projects related to high-rise buildings, villas, commercial complexes, residential buildings, industrial structures, and redevelopment projects.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business discussions to understand project requirements.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with architects, consultants, developers, and construction firms.
- Coordinate with the technical team for proposal preparation and project submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming construction projects.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong lead generation and client acquisition abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in B2B sales within construction, engineering consultancy, architecture, or real estate sectors.
- Ability to independently source and convert business opportunities.
- Good understanding of construction projects and structural engineering services.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in structural engineering, construction consultancy, architecture, or real estate.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and acquiring new clients.
