Job Description:
Unilift Cargo Systems Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Safety Officer for its Dross Processing Unit at Jharsuguda. The candidate should have experience in industrial/manufacturing environments and strong knowledge of EHS standards, statutory compliance, and workplace safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- ADIS / PDIS / Industrial Safety Certification preferred
Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing, metal, aluminium, or processing industry
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and statutory requirements
- Monitor safe handling of dross and hazardous materials
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment
- Coordinate safety trainings and awareness programs
- Handle PPE management and safety audits
- Support incident investigation and CAPA tracking
- Maintain KPI scores and coordinate with clients
Required Skills:
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Leadership and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in shifts and a plant environment
